After reading the review (above) from a few years ago -- which purports that female readers are too burdened by societal demands to have time to read/volunteer
...
-- I wanted to assure potential listeners to this excellent audiobook, that such usage has not been the lot of women since before the 1970's.
I thoroughly enjoyed the male readers of this audiobook, and I have also found some incredible audiobooks read flawlessly by female readers. I see no inequity in the representation of the sexes on the incredible archive.org website.

men, are not appreciated and compensated as much as males etc, that they don't have the time to volunteer to be readers and i think that is a shame and unjust.
